We want to be changed to be more like Jesus.
Our desire is to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus. We want to be a genuine community that cares for one another and makes visitors feel welcome.
What is a Growth Group?
A Growth Group is a mid-week meet-up to pray, learn from the Bible and love one another.
These small groups are the perfect opportunity for growth. You'll get to know your fellow group members. You'll be able to encourage one another in following Jesus.
The purpose of Growth Groups is growth. We are aiming to be transformed more into the likeness of Jesus.
The means of growth is prayer, Bible and love. Another way to describe these is "leaning, loving and learning." We will lean on God in prayer. We will learn from God as we understand the Bible. We will love one another as we spend time in community.
Who, when & where?
We have a range of groups.
Growth Groups are for anyone who wants to grow in Jesus. If you follow Jesus, this is you! We have daytime and night-time groups. Some meet in people's homes. Some meet at the St John's Presbyterian Church hall at 33 King St, Annerley.

Young Adults
Our Young Adults group meets on Wednesday nights.
Our young adults group meets Wednesday nights in Annerley at the St John's Presbyterian Church hall.
This is a great place to make friends and get to know Jesus more. We eat together, study the Bible together, and enjoy life together.
To get connected, come along to either Moorooka Presbyterian on Sunday mornings, or Night Church Annerley on Sunday nights.
Grades 6 - 12
King's Youth is our high school youth group.
King's Youth is our fortnightly Friday night gathering for Grades 6 - 12.
We meet from 6pm to 8pm.
You can belong, ask honest questions, open the Bible, eat together, play together, and put the phone away for a couple of hours.
King's Youth is a joint ministry of several churches on Brisbane's south side.
